What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets an AI use external tools. With the Maison Éclaire MCP, your assistant reads our live catalogue, prices and delivery terms.

Is it free?

Yes. No account, no login, no API key. You only need an AI app that accepts MCP servers; some apps keep that for paid plans.

Which AIs work?

Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, VS Code (Copilot), Copilot Studio, Gemini CLI, Antigravity, Grok, Le Chat (Mistral), Perplexity, and Cline, and any AI that accepts a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP).

Can the AI place an order?

No. The MCP is read-only: it can't order, pay or create an account. You order on our website using the link your AI gives you, and pay cash on delivery.

What about my data?

The MCP asks for no personal data and creates no account. Our server doesn't record your questions: only technical errors are logged. Your conversations stay with your AI provider, under its own privacy policy.

Are prices and stock up to date?

Yes, every answer comes from the shop's catalogue, read again at least every 5 minutes. Sold-out products are shown without a price.

Is it official?
