Cookie policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
A cookie is a small file your browser saves for a website. We also use your browser's local storage, which works the same way. Here is everything maisoneclaire.co saves there, and why.
1.Needed for the site to work
These are always on, because the site cannot work without them. They are not used to track you and do not need your consent.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| cookie_consent | Remembers your analytics and advertising choice. | 13 months |
| i18n_locale | Remembers the language you chose. | 1 year |
| sb-jmpgteaqvhytbczpmdgt-auth-token | Keeps you signed in to your account. Only if you sign in. | 30 days |
| sb-jmpgteaqvhytbczpmdgt-auth-token-code-verifier | Secures sign-in by email link or with Google, Facebook, Apple or LinkedIn. | For the sign-in only |
| cart (local storage) | What is in your cart. | Until you empty it |
| theme-preference (local storage) | Light or dark theme. | Until you change it |
2.Analytics (with your consent)
We use PostHog to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, clicks, the path to checkout) and to improve it. If you click "Accept", PostHog sets the cookie below, which links your visits together, and may record how a visit unfolds (pages, clicks, scrolling, with form fields hidden) to help us find what gets in the way. Without your consent, no cookie is set (see "Anonymous, cookie-free measurement").
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| ph_…_posthog | A random ID that links the pages of one visit. PostHog may also use your browser's local storage for the same purpose. | 1 year |
3.Meta advertising (with your consent)
We advertise on Instagram and Facebook. To measure how the ads work, the Meta Pixel records pages viewed and items added to the cart. It is only loaded, and its cookies only set, after you click "Accept".
Whatever you choose, when you order, our server sends the purchase to Meta, as explained in our privacy policy. If you arrive from an Instagram or Facebook ad, the ID of that click is kept in the tab (session storage, "meta-ad-click") and only sent with an order; it is gone when you close the tab.
If you arrive from an ad, a post or another site, we also keep the first source of your visit in local storage ("first-touch", 30 days): the link's utm tags, the click ID, the name of the site you came from (not the page) and the first page you saw. It is sent only with an order, to know which ad brought it.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _fbp | A random Meta Pixel ID that links your visits to the ads you saw. | 3 months |
| _fbc | Records which ad you clicked, if you arrive from Instagram or Facebook. | 3 months |
5.External services
If you follow a link to Instagram or Google Maps, or sign in with Google, Facebook, Apple or LinkedIn, those services set their own cookies on their own sites, under their own policies. We have no access to them.
6.Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time with the button below, or the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. If you decline after accepting, the analytics cookies already set are removed, and measurement carries on without cookies.
You can also delete all cookies from your browser settings. You will then be signed out and your cart will be emptied.
