Every raw material, from our Casablanca studio

Maison Éclaire sells the supplies we use in our own Casablanca studio: candle wax, wicks, fragrance oils, colourants and silicone moulds. Here you will find every candle making raw material in Morocco in one place, whether you are pouring your first candle at home or preparing a batch to sell.

Each supply has its own page, with its sizes, prices and a how-to guide. To start making candles in Morocco without buying each supply separately, the candle making kit brings together the essentials: all you need is a glass.

What you need to make a candle

Wax first. Soy wax is the easiest to start with: 4130 for container candles, 4120 for moulded candles. We also sell paraffin, rapeseed wax, palm wax, gel wax and beeswax, from 28.6 MAD per kilo depending on the wax and size.

Then the wick. It decides how the candle burns: its thickness is chosen according to the candle's diameter. Braided cotton wick by the metre, ready-to-use 15 cm cotton wicks, wooden wicks, sustainers and centring bars.

The fragrance. Our fragrance oils are made for wax and are used at 5 to 10% of its weight, or 50 to 100 g per kilo. Floral, gourmand, fruity, woody or oriental: 56 scents to choose from.

Colour, if you like. A few drops of pigment or a pinch of mica is enough to tint the wax, without affecting how it burns.

The container or the mould. For a container candle, a heat-resistant glass or jar is all you need. For a candle that stands on its own, a silicone mould releases cleanly, even for shapes in relief.

Buy in small quantities or in bulk

Every supply comes in a small size for your tests and a large size for your batches: wax from 500 g to 25 kg depending on the wax, braided wicks by 10 m or in spools of up to 1,000 m, sustainers in lots of up to 1,500 pieces.

Large sizes cost less per kilo. 4130 soy wax, for example, goes from 125 MAD per kilo to 97 MAD per kilo in a 20 kg bag. For a larger quantity, or for a workshop, request a trade quote.
